Our Coaching Staff
Bob Hayes -Director
Bob has been the owner and Head Camp Coach since 2000. He was the Head Age Group Coach of the Toronto Swim Club for 13 years and is currently an elementary school teacher at Kingsway college school. As a swimmer Bob was a National and World Cup medalist. He currently competes as an Ironman Triathlon athlete. As a coach, Bob has produced 10 national and 14 provincial age group records. Most recently Bob's former swimmer Penny Oleksiak won 4 medals at the Rio Olympics including gold. Bob provides a positive and dynamic environment which motivates his athletes to achieve their potential. His passion for this sport is contagious.
Victor Delac, Head Development Coach
Victor was the Head Development coach or the Toronto Swim Club from 1995-2015. He has been leading the Toronto Summer Swim Camp development program since 2005. He is a an elementary school teacher and past Ryerson University Swimming Head Coach. Victor sets a positive and high energy learning environment which motivates his athletes to develop great swimming efficiency and a love for this sport. In addition to his coaching role Victor mentors most of the incoming coaches as they start their coaching career.
Andrea St. Jules, Elite Group Coach
Andrea coaches for the Granite Gators throughout the regular swim season. As a swimmer she represented the Toronto Swim club setting multiple national records while competing. Since joining the Toronto Summer Swim Camp staff Andrea has fostered a love for swimming among our most elite swimmers at the camp.
Kate Hulford, 5-7 Lead Coach
Kate is in her 3rd year at the Toronto Summer Swim Camp. She is the lead coach for our youngest group and brings a wealth of knowledge to our camp as a distance swimmer in the top group of the Toronto Swim Club. In September she will be attending attending and swimming at the University of Ottawa.
Avery Leake, 5-7 Coach
Avery is in her first year coaching the camp. She is a current swimmer in the top group of the Toronto Swim Club. She works with our yougest swimmers at the camp and brings excellent energy and cheer to the whole program.
Jake Redfern, 7-11 Age Group Coach
This is Jake's second year as camp coach but his 10th year being part of the camp. Jake exhibits the spirit of the Toronto Summer Swim Camp. Spend a minute with Jake and you will feel his passion for this wonderful sport. Jake is entering his last year at Monarch Park Collegiate and he is a distance swimmer at Crest Swim Club.
Travis Cumming, 7-11 Age Group Coach
This is Travis' second year as camp coach but his 10th year being part of the camp. Travis exhibits the spirit of the Toronto Summer Swim Camp. His dedication to this sport comes out every time he works with his swimmers. Travis is entering his last year at Monarch Park Collegiate and he is a distance swimmer at the Toronto Swim Club.

Sam Hibbart, 5-7 Coach
Sam is in his third year coaching the camp. He swims with he Swim Ontario Academy where he is working at becoming on of the top swimmers in the country. He works with the 11 and over swimmers who allows love when he is on deck. Sam recently graduated from Crestwood Preparatory School
Ava Camps, 5-7 Coach
Ava is in her 2nd year coaching the camp. She is a current swimmer in the top group of the Toronto Swim Club. She works with our yougest swimmers at the camp and brings excellent energy and cheer to the whole program.
